Getting bigger by the day calls for a drastic fashion change for me. For one, those tops and bottoms I like usually fit at the waist but I don't exactly have a waist now! haha. I was gaining a lot of weight in my first trimester that by the end of the fourth month, I couldn't fit eighty percent of the stuffs in my wardrobe. It was tough shopping for new clothes because of the natural instinct to pick out fitting clothes, then remembering that I need a waist for these pretty numbers.
I have been shopping for clothes that can accommodate my growing bump now but don't look oversized for me after I pop. So, bottoms with elastic waistbands like this pair of printed soft pants from Topshop are my new found favourite. And the long cardigan? That's to hide my incredibly big hip. hehe.

Printed pants from Topshop
Maternity tanktop from ASOS
Long cardigan from Lacquar at Far East Plaza
Studded velvet flat pumps from Topshop
Necklace from Topshop
It's my personal motto to look big and hip. hehe, I welcome any tips!

Dude, you make maternity look COOL! And relaxed and comfortable at the same time. Sometimes I feel like fashionable is not always comfortable when it comes to pregnancy, but clearly you have found a way to reconcile both!
ReplyDeleteMy 1st trimester, I lost lots of weight from puking! hahaha! My sisters said I should have gone for some studio shoots. Now, too fat. Boo Hoo... U didn't look that large. Haha... :)
