Brocades and Colours

Ash Lapin new collection is finally up With the Lunar New Year as the base inspiration, there are more colours for Ash Selection Collection and for Ash Lapin Collection it's based on Chinese brocade.

For Ash Lapin Collection the designs are my take on the recent brocade trend and mixing it with the sheer trend. Many designers like YSL are using brocade for their collection, and I also absolutely love the sheernesss of the many designs recently especially for Chloe. Do you like my take of the recent trend in my designs?

What resemblance do you see between my designs and the trends? :) The shoot was done at a local Chinese and Japanese Garden. A really nice place right? :)
As for Ash Selection, more colours and reds are selected for the new year festive season.

The shoot was done in interesting alleys over Singapore. Like these areas? :)

Take a look at the store for more lookbook photos! On top of the launch there would be a promotion storewide for this whole festive season!

  4. I love brocade as well, and am so happy it's made it's way into fashion instead of just on drapes! I actually recently bought a velvet brocade pattern dress and I love it. :) pretty and insightful post, lovely!
