Alice Cullen is often seen with this elegant choker necklace in Twilight Eclipse which inspired me to make one to complete my vampire inspired outfit. Here are what you need: a small brooch and half a metre of velvet ribbon.
This DIY is incredibly easy and quick to do. Once the materials are gathered, 'making' the choker necklace took less than a minute! I was really happy to find this quirky and cute owl brooch at Accessorize. I thought it was perfect as a centre piece for the choker necklace.Two simple steps: 1) trim the ends of the ribbon and 2) pin on the brooch.
This pretty piece of accessory goes very well with classic black dresses with low neckline. I totally love how it adds a touch of elegance to an outfit. I'm keeping a lookout for cute brooches so that I can make myself more choker necklaces!
