Embracing green

Hey guys! It's been so long since my last post. We are sincerely sorry for the lack of activity, but are both fully occupied in our lives. Hope to have more of these "out of the blue" posts for you guys, as we are unable to keep up with our themes. :P

24th Sept is a special day, my hatch day, haha! So wore this new dress from Topshop for brunch with my lovely friends.

You can count this as the first green item in my wardrobe, as my hubby absolutely hates green and especially camouflage related items. He says he developed that after serving national service, haha. (guess sleeping and bathing with all guys in green for 2 years got his head screwed) Hence I never really owned anything green (since we dated+married for 10years till date).

Perhaps it is the Marc Jacobs magic(though a very delayed one), this season I am into green despite violent disapproving looks from hubby. In fact I love this colour so much that I got another skirt of a similar colour from Topshop and matched it with a lime green t-shirt! (imagine my hubby's horror, haha)

Dress and green-stone bangel: Topshop
Pearl Bracelet: Thomas Sabo + Swarovski Pendant (wedding gift from hubby)
Necklace: Far East
Belt: H&M
Shoes: Steve Madden
Purse: Chanel

Are you embracing anything new recently? :)

Ash :o)

  1. Welcome Back! Life happens, so I understand. I love your dress and it's a really rich green. Green comes in so many shades. I can be so fickle about it, but I love the darker ones and then the extremely light (mint) that we saw this summer. You look darling!

  6. I love your tan Chanel bag. I have the basic black one, but seeing yours makes me want to get the tan one as well. It looks great with your structured looking olive green dress. You look cute!
