The beautiful Vanda Miss Joaquim was chosen as Singapore's national flower in 1981. It was chosen as the national flower due to its vibrant colour, hardiness and resilience which reflects the Singapore's spirit. I have seen this flower many times on pictures but never in person. Thus last week, my hubby and I decided to make a trip down to Singapore National Orchid Garden to search for it. It was such a lovely outing as we were surrounded by many beautiful and colourful orchids. Here are some photos from that day to share:

The beautiful colours of our national flower were the inspiration behind this eye makeup. Shades of purple and tinges of purple and red diffusing into each other. Hope you ladies like it!
