Hubby and I did not go for any overseas tour this year (2011) end, so we decided to act as tourists for one day and tour our own country, Singapore. Knowing that most of our readers are not from the South East Asian region, I just had to put this up on our blog. Really hope that this will help you guys have a glimpse of how Singapore is like.
Yes, that's me and my hubby! We went on 2 tours for that day: A Duck Tour and a trip on the Singapore Flyer.
The Duck Tours is an amphibious vehicle that brings you around the city area and on the Kallang River. While I loved the view, hubby fell asleep cause of the soothing sea breeze and heavy lunch. (what a spoil sport)
Singapore is unusually wet in Dec and we were lucky to have a non- rainy day on our trip but were not spared by cloudy skies.
After a lazy afternoon ride on the "Duck", we walked over to the Flyer. On the way I spotted some nice Christmas decorations for me to pose with. On a side note, hubby hated my vintage culottes, said it looks like his mom's.
Outfit
Vintage: Culottes,Coach Satchel and Bracelet
Cotton On: Top
Far East: Bowler Hat
Asos: Belt
Gmarket: Socks
Topshop: Booties
Rings: Gift and F21
We got on the flyer at just the right time: when the sky was turning dark and city lights were up. The view up there was really fantastic.
Hope to show you guys more pictures next time. Hope you liked them!
Ash :o)
