Lace Collars
I wonder when my love for lace and cute collars started. I immediately fell in love with LV's Spring/Summer collection for very obvious reasons and I just had to make 1 for myself.
It's a simple project. All that are needed are some beautiful lace and unwanted old shirts. I got my husband to dig in his closet since I don't own many shirts .
Just cut out the collar from the shirt and attach your desired lace on. I've tacked them on with pins first to gauge the look before running through my sewing machine. I've also placed 2 layers of lace to give more interesting details.
One can adjust the look with different lace. I made two, 1 black 1 white and still liked the white one more.
To hide the button closure a simple brooch would do the trick.
