Ahoy!

I was pretty amused by Rachel Berry's nautical outfit which she wore for her date with Finn. She just could find a way to put together trendy pieces and but still look so quirky and awfully cute.
Love this outfit too? Here's how you can create a sailor top in 5 minutes!
Use old ties which you don't mind cutting up!
I thrifted these second hand ties from Red Cross.

Tie the smaller ends of the red and blue ties together.

At approximately 35cm away from the knot, sew the ties together. The correct sides of the ties should be facing inwards and the reverse side facing outwards.
The length from the knot depends on how big you want the loop to be.
Cut away the excess ties.

Turn the correct side out and your sailor neckerchief is done!

Now, pin it on any tops with small safety pins. There you go, a sailor top in 5 minutes!
For a different look, you can shift the knot to the side.
Thanx for checking out this tutorial! See you guys around!
