Falling leaves in SG

{Autumn September}

Autumn is about beautiful red and brown leaves falling, and a time to pile on layers to prepare for the cold. However, none of that happens in Singapore as we do not experience seasons. So when FT suggested autumn as our theme this month, it sounded so cool to bring in seasons to this tropical island.

Leggings: Uniqlo

I choose to interpret this theme by adopting the colour brown, trying to layer as much as I can in the summer like weather of Singapore and topping it off with autumn themed accessories.

 I knew I had to take the photos for this theme at our Singapore Botanical Gardens, for they have the most amazing trees and fallen brown leaves.

Phew, it was quite a feat to carry off this attire in the garden under the sun! Most visitors at the garden were in light attire, donning hats and carrying umbrellas.

This is my first time taking my own photos with a tripod. Though it felt awkward, I still had loads of fun at the garden.
