Here's my way to look smart in the office, look fabulous at night and get to the party on time after work!
The trick here is to hide the pretty party dress under my blazer and pencil skirt.
Black blazer and black pencil skirt from H&M
Dress from Far East Plaza
For extra brownie points at work, put on an intellectual looking spectacles, carry a file around and try to look VERY busy.
Ditch the blazer, skirt and specs then jazz up the outfit for the fun night out with some accessories! The right accessories will instantly glam up even the simplest party dress. I chose some chunky bangles and ring to go with the gold details on my black dress.
Old gold bangle on left and black bangle on right from Gina Tricot
Gold bangle on right from H&M
Now let your hair down and enjoy the night! Hey any great tips for quick work to party outfit change? Take it to the comments!

ReplyDeleteGreat post. I never have the guts to wear a party dress to work but if I have a party to go to I might risk it by covering up with a blazer :)!

ReplyDeleteBaha youre so cute!! I def love those pictures with the folder. The dress is amazing, you killed it making it work for day too!
ReplyDeleteHey Bessie! Yeah I do have that problem too, so to avoid ridges, I usually tie my hair a little more loosely and use pins and very little hairspray to keep it neat.
