From the runway to everyday orange eye makeup

This is the look from Donna Karan's fall 2011 collection by MAC Cosmetics and I love it to bits. It's interesting to see how Tillbury combined two striking features - orange glossy eyes with pink lips so harmoniously. I went on to put together an orange eye with pink lips makeup look. To make it an everyday wearable look, I toned down on some elements: 1) no gloss on the eyelids and 2) softer orange on the eyes. I opted for a brighter orange eyeshadow against my yellow skin. A tip: If you have prominent eyebags, don't bring the orange to below your eyes.
