Mix for more fun!

Fashion is so much fun, cause we get to mix and match things we love and express our personalities! I think mixing vintage with modern gives an outfit more interest. While I have no qualms about dressing vintage head to toe, it is not easy collecting vintage items especially shoes.  

Well, I'm going to contradict myself now, cause as much as I love to mix I love matchy stuff. I especially love to match colours, so if it's a blue day then let it be blue head to toe! :)

The Greenhorn

Green is never my favourite colour for quite a lame reason, just because my husband hates it.

For the first few years of dating (he is my first and only boyfriend), I dressed basically the way he liked. I could not cut my hair because he did not like short hair.

It took me four years to realize, we love each other for who we are and it would take much more than a hair cut or a different dress sense for us to be upset with each other.

While I started dressing for myself a long time ago (we dated since 2002, so do your own math), colour green still never caught on my liking. I do not detest the colour, but I would say I am a newbie to wearing it.

Introducing Dream A Tutu

Hello all! For our old readers who know us as FtAshion, we are announcing a revamp to our little blog! All new readers, welcome to our little humble abode of fashion and make-up sharing! 

We are  Fynn and Ashley, a couple of fashion and make- up lovers who started blogging since 2011. The past three years was so much fun sharing with all of you our outfits, make- up and crafting ideas. We also learnt so much from all you amazing bloggers out there! Hence we decided that in order to give our little blog more life, a revamp needs to be set in place! 

Our original blog name was rather difficult to pronounce, hence we decided on a more pleasing new name! 

So introducing: Dream A Tutu! We decided on this because both of us are dreamers, striving to live our dream of fashion and make- up. Tutu was chosen, frankly because we thought it's cute and definitely not because we dance (we cannot dance to save our lives :P). Well, we love all things beautiful, feminine, graceful and romantic, so picture a beautiful lady dressed in a gorgeous tulle dress. 

We will continue to document our love for fashion and make- up and share bits and pieces of our life with you.

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Happy Birthday Singapore! 9th August is Singapore's Independence Day! 

What better way to celebrate than to be decked in the national colours? My brother is a proud Singapore Naval officer, so I guess this outfit is a tribute to all the navy men and women safeguarding our waters!

I've started wearing petticoats for more of my outfits. I think that extra oomph seems to look much nicer but I can't handle petticoats that are too full so I snipped off the extra layers. What's your take on petticoats?
